In December 2023, I had the pleasure of visiting Banya No.1 in London, and it truly exceeded all my expectations! With prior sauna experiences under my belt, I can confidently state that Banya No.1 provides a level of relaxation for both body and mind that is incomparable.
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. The service and overall experience were truly delightful. However, we were led to believe it was a designated slot for females only. Yet, in the words of Stormzy, "too many guys"! If you're seeking a genuine 'women only' environment, I'd advise looking elsewhere. Apart from that, it was a great experience! Would have been a 5-star rating otherwise.
Received this experience as a gift and thoroughly enjoyed it! One thing to note is that you only receive one complimentary carafe of water, and staying hydrated is crucial when using the banya, so I found myself quite parched while trying to be frugal. Nonetheless, I would happily revisit!
