I visited the store last Thursday and waited a lengthy 40 minutes for my wife's minor prescription. The lack of sufficient staff in the store forces pharmacy personnel to halt their work when customers wish to make purchases. The service was much more efficient in previous years, and I am uncertain as to why the system has changed. The pharmacy's queue management is nonsensical due to inadequate staffing.

The booking system functioned smoothly, with helpful text reminders. The eye test was thorough, conducted by several staff members who were all kind and supportive throughout the process. I received my prescription and selected frames with their guidance. The staff provided honest advice on frames that suited my preferences and needs. I now have a pair that receives compliments at work and is not only comfortable but also highly functional. I will undoubtedly return to Boots for future tests and potentially more frames. The store offers a wide variety of styles to cater to different budgets.

Boots Ayr offers a vast array of products, beyond my expectations. I simply intended to purchase ear drops for a congested ear, yet stumbled upon a comprehensive cleansing kit that perfectly met my needs. The store is impeccably organized, spacious, and well-ventilated, with a nearly flawless presentation. In addition to a chemist, opticians, and a photo developing section, it boasts a wide range of health products. While slightly pricey, with Boots, you receive exactly what you pay for. A delightful shop, deserving full marks.
