Collected my private prescriptions from this Boots Pharmacy multiple times and always received prompt, helpful, and friendly service! If an item was out of stock, they always offered to order it for the next day, which is fantastic! (Some Boots branches don't offer this until prompted). Overall, no complaints about the pharmacy or pharmacists here, highly recommend this branch for prescriptions!
I make an effort to steer clear of this specific boots location due to consistently subpar experiences. Unfortunately, I had to visit in a rush. Upon asking a staff member for assistance, I was ignored initially. When I inquired again, I was directed to ask someone "over there" with a vague gesture. Finding the item myself due to lack of staff presence, I proceeded to pay. The cashier seemed despondent and charged me 13p for a paper bag. Perhaps Boots should replace the disheartened older employees with a new generation of staff. This change could potentially brighten the atmosphere. Best to avoid.
Extremely unprofessional pharmacist over the phone. Disconnected the call before allowing me to speak. The website indicated the availability of a medication, but she simply stated it was not without verifying or permitting me to inquire. I made over 10 calls in an hour before finally getting through. Either severely understaffed or in need of customer service training.
