Outstanding salon and team, I consistently leave feeling and looking fabulous! Every visit to Mayfive, my hair turns out exactly as I envisioned, thanks to their exceptional work. Today, Jamie styled my hair, and she truly listened to my preferences, creating a stunning look. I can't praise this salon enough.
For new clients, I wouldn't bother. They have a process where you need to fill out an application form for an appointment. It feels like they want your life story, nearly asking for your CV and shoe size. But then, it all disappears into thin air. I waited for 4 weeks without a word, then suddenly got an email saying the hairstylist I requested isn't available and suggested someone not even listed on their site, proposing appointments for the next month. A standard of professionalism would require a polite response and an explanation upon receiving the application. This lack of care and unprofessionalism towards new clients is telling. I'll move on, not my loss, as there are plenty of other fantastic and courteous local hairdressers.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mayfive. Jamie was incredibly kind and really took the time to help me choose the perfect hairstyle and colour for my hair type. The end result was flawless and I would definitely suggest giving them a try! Plus, the music playlist was top-notch!
