I visited this hair salon for a quick trim on my already short hair. I didn't inquire about the cost since most salons in the vicinity charge between £15 and £18 for a women's dry cut. Midway through, I inquired about the price for dyeing my hair and was quoted £38, which seemed reasonable. However, when I went to pay for my 10-minute trim, I was told, "That'll be £35 today, please." I was taken aback and double-checked, but it was indeed £35. Feeling upset, I reluctantly paid. The co-owner approached me outside and asked if everything was alright. I expressed my shock at the exorbitant price for a simple trim. She insisted that was the price and mentioned it would have been much more for a cut and blow-dry. How can they justify charging such a high price for a dry cut when even upscale city salons don't charge that much? At nearly 68 years old, I need to be mindful of my spending, which is why I usually opt for dry cuts. Being new to the area, I felt completely taken advantage of by this pair. I'll always remember to inquire about prices before booking in the future, and I advise others to do the same before scheduling an appointment at this establishment. Utterly appalled!
