They'll take your money for a service not worth a fiver. I shelled out 50 quid for gel nails with extensions. I showed a picture for clarity and asked if she could replicate the simple shape. The end result? Nails resembling Shrek's in a shade of pink.
The therapist did a great job on my nails, but I was disappointed with the owner's behaviour. It felt like she viewed me with suspicion, as if I were a potential thief. I ended up giving her an extra £2 by mistake, as I had 5 euros instead of £5. The total came to £58, plus the extra £2 for using her card machine. Even though there was an ATM nearby, she didn't trust me to go there, despite already having paid £55 in cash. Very unprofessional conduct.
