I got my lips pierced by Max and it fell out within 2-3 months, what a waste of my money - £23 and time. But that's not surprising or unexpected for me.
I contacted Max in an urgent situation as I had an earring stuck in my upper cartilage piercing. A very kind individual with excellent customer service.
I visited this place to get a helix piercing. Firstly, the price list was clearly displayed on the wall, stating that helix piercings cost £10. However, because I asked for a needle instead of a gun (which a professional should know is necessary for cartilage piercings) and a hoop instead of a stud because "hoops are difficult for him to put in," he charged me double the price. During the piercing, I started feeling faint as he took a long time to screw the ball onto the hoop. I informed him about feeling faint, but he seemed indifferent. After the piercing, he explained the aftercare procedure and why I was charged double while I was nearly unconscious. Despite following his cleaning instructions diligently, three months later, the piercing was still painful and infected. I know two other individuals who also got infected piercings from this shop. It might be good for tattoos, but I would not recommend it for piercings.
