Words cannot express the level of support and positive atmosphere that the wonderful teachers at this school foster. I finished my 3-week foundation level makeup and hair diploma, and it truly has given me the confidence and drive to pursue further opportunities. I had been searching for a makeup training course for quite some time when I stumbled upon the Central School of Makeup, conveniently located in Birmingham. The 10-week course running on Sundays was perfect for me. Laura and Becky were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Laura was very prompt in responding when I emailed work for her to review. Becky, our main teacher, provided excellent demonstrations for all of us to follow. During our time there, we had the privilege of learning from several makeup artists showcasing various looks. The school was well-equipped with a variety of makeup brands, offering plenty of choices. The classroom area was tidy and maintained to a high standard. If given the chance, I would definitely train there again.
I completed the IMA Foundation 10-week course at CSMU and I absolutely adored every moment of it! The course was highly informative, and we had the opportunity to practice what we learned every week by working on each other. Upon completing the course, I felt confident to take on makeup bookings and kickstart my career. A special thank you to Laura and Becky, who were both fantastic instructors during the course. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enter the makeup industry.
