The most atrocious customer service I have ever encountered. Last Friday, I spent over 30 minutes selecting baby clothes on sale, amounting to over £100. I carefully chose the right sizes for each item. I asked the team if I could leave the clothes for my mum to purchase the next day with her staff discount. They agreed. Unfortunately, my mum couldn't make it, so I went back to the store to request they hold the items until Monday. Initially, they refused. After speaking to the manager, they agreed to keep the clothes until today. However, when my mum went to pick up the items, they had been put back on the shop floor. The team informed her that the manager had instructed to return them, stating "the lady can come in and complain on Monday." This decision caused unnecessary stress and contradicted what was promised to a customer. It was a wasted trip for my pregnant mum, and I will now have to return to the store on another day to search for whatever items are left. This treatment is disgraceful, especially towards someone who is 8 months pregnant. As a former retail manager, I cannot comprehend how someone could consider this appropriate customer care.
