I am thoroughly enjoying my experience at Brushstroke so far! Initially uncertain about my career path, the open day here helped me discover my passion. Enrolled in the 2-year programme, I have never been happier. I highly recommend it to anyone aspiring to enter the world of hair and makeup. The tutors are fantastic, and the studio environment fosters positivity and support.

Having completed my first year at Brushstroke's Elstree Academy, I am elated with my decision to study here. The diverse curriculum and industry-professional tutors initially drew me in, and this aspect remains my favourite part of the course. The knowledge and skills I have gained in just one year are remarkable. The tutors' passion for their craft is evident, making the learning experience enjoyable and enriching. While I wish there was more focus on period hairstyling for men, the transferable skills acquired are invaluable. Brushstroke provides a makeup kit at the start, a great introduction to industry-standard products. Additional investments in hair equipment may be necessary. My time at Brushstroke has solidified my career aspirations, leading to exciting work opportunities in film and television. I eagerly anticipate the second year of study and further growth in my craft! 😊

Undertaking the 2-year Hair and Makeup course at Brushstroke was a transformative experience for me. Seeking to enhance my skills, I pursued the Hairdressing and Barbering course as well. The instructors are exceptional, offering valuable assistance when needed. Louise, in particular, has been incredibly supportive and instrumental in securing my previous jobs.
