I have been visiting Harper Nails for gel nails between September 2017 and January 2018. Initially, my nails were crystal clear and stunning. However, after three months, I noticed some nails appearing peculiar with white circular lines and pink hues underneath. I brought this up with the owner, but she didn't provide a satisfactory explanation. Since I was getting a festive colour applied for Christmas, I didn't dwell on it much.
1. It's essential to take breaks from gel nails every 6-8 weeks, which Harper Nails never advised during my 5-month visits. 2. Complete gel removal is necessary each time, which Harper Nails seemed to overlook, leading to gel accumulation akin to hard acrylic. 3. The use of electric drill-style sanders at Harper Nails posed a risk of nail damage due to excessive heat.
