I am a novice salon-goer, had been to a different salon once before with no issues. My granddaughter and I went in late January, I was satisfied with the outcome then. We were exploring new salons as my granddaughter just moved to the area and was searching for one she liked. After we left, she mentioned she wasn’t pleased with her nails as they lacked coats; two days later, she got her nails done elsewhere and was content with the result. At Brynmawr nails, we both had the same treatment; removal of old shellac and new application. My nails have been in a terrible state since, breaking very low; it appears as if I have started biting them, which I haven't. Anyway, I later received advice from a skilled nail technician who mentioned that they removed too many layers of my nail before applying the shellac.
Took my 10-year-old nephew who was keen on his first set of acrylics. Got them hand-painted exactly as he wanted. Delighted.
Took my spouse here, she adores the nails but the nail technician accidentally nicked the side of her finger quite badly, causing it to bleed.
