I had booked in for a balayage and cut 2 months in advance for my trip to Japan with Suzi, originally scheduled for 10.10am. However, due to starting a new job, I asked if I could reschedule for a different date. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible, so I opted to keep the appointment, but it had already been taken. Suzi then rescheduled me for 9am on the same day.
Google Maps had estimated a travel time of around 40 minutes, but due to traffic, it took me an hour to arrive, making me 15 minutes late (9.15am).
Outcome:
Suzi did her best to rearrange my appointment with another stylist as it would impact her next booking. I told her if it wasn't possible, not to worry as my lateness was my fault.
In the end, Molly began working on my hair around 10.30am and finished sometime after 11am as she had another client scheduled for that time... I have attached a picture for reference of the result of my hair. The photos were taken a few days after, but it appears that...
I paid £155 for my hair to be blended/balayage before my holiday but ended up with three distinct blocks of colour in my hair, some areas with two blocks.
Treatment:
Molly applied bleach to my hair without using foils and added some highlights to the top section. I'm unsure what happened to the lower half. Towels were in short supply, so when they washed my hair, they dried it with a used towel from the previous client who had her hair washed next to me. While cutting my hair, no protective covering was used, leaving me covered in hair. I left the salon around 2.30pm.
