The personnel were exceedingly pleasant and welcoming. Amenities - Starting to exhibit signs of wear and tear, with a few tiles missing around the hot tub. The relaxation lounges post-massage appeared soiled. Massage - It has been a while since I've had one in the UK, but it felt like a perfunctory massage to me. It solely covered the upper back and upper front, omitting the sides of the body or legs. No attention given to the higher back, shoulders, neck, chest, hands, feet, or body sides. The massage therapist was very amiable. No Prosecco was provided as advertised.
The team were exceptionally amiable and accommodating, and the changing facilities were orderly and spotless, as was the aquatic area itself. The steam chamber and sauna were delightful, and the pool maintained a pleasant temperature, perfect for some laps. We particularly enjoyed the neck jet and hydrotherapy pool. Would happily revisit.
Visited W Club during my stay at the Whalesborough Spa location. Tidy gym with a diverse array of equipment. Lockers on hand. Swimming pool equipped with a whirlpool, sauna, and steam room. A charming spot that wasn't overly crowded.
