The store is massive, offering a wide range of products in bulk. And indulging in a hot dog and a drink at the end is a good excuse to visit, haha.
A great store with friendly and somewhat helpful staff. It tends to get extremely crowded, even late at night. However, the major downside is that regardless of the time you visit, the fruits and vegetables on display are often spoiled. If you plan to purchase fresh produce, make sure to inspect them thoroughly before buying, as most packages contain at least a couple of mouldy items. On the bright side, they do offer some unbeatable deals on TVs, phones, tablets, and fridge/freezers. Is it worth it? Definitely.
The best part about Tesco here is the ample parking space available for free. The interior of the store resembles an abandoned warehouse, with a poorly designed layout and a lack of signage for different sections, except for a meagre selection of hot food near the exit. The customer service today was abysmal, especially the unhelpful staff member in the computer department. There was a strange vibe in the air. The variety of products is lacking, and there is a minimum spending requirement of £100, even if you have a short shopping list. The oddest part comes at the end when you have to queue up to show your receipt to the man near the exit, who then meticulously counts each item in your cart before allowing you to leave. Overall, a disappointing and unpleasant experience at this Sheffield branch. I would prefer Sam's Club and hope it opens in the UK.
