I scheduled a Hollywood waxing appointment at this establishment based on glowing reviews. Either those reviews were paid for or fate led me to visit on the establishment's worst day. The waxing room appeared neglected, with old wax spilling over from the melter. Reusable applicators were used, leading to concerns about hygiene. Dim lighting made the process challenging, resulting in an unsatisfactory outcome resembling a half-plucked chicken. Upon returning home, I spent over 30 minutes individually removing leftover hairs. It became evident that most of my hair was broken, not pulled from the root, exacerbating my ingrown hair issue. Fiona's pleasant demeanor was the sole positive aspect. For those seeking cleanliness and quality, I strongly advise against this venue. It has been years since I've had such a disappointing waxing experience.

Upon learning about my mother's stroke and current residence in a care facility, Rory kindly gifted a bag of treats, including a facial cream. Such a thoughtful gesture! I will definitely return for more treatments. Thank you!

I arranged several treatments in anticipation of my upcoming holiday. The venue exuded warmth and the staff were welcoming. The waxing was painless, and I felt comfortable and at ease throughout. For my French shellac manicure, the most expensive option, I expected a conditioning treatment and hand massage, which were not provided. While my cuticles were tidied and nails painted, it fell short of my expectations. Unsure if it was an oversight due to time constraints or a busy day, I was disappointed not to receive what I paid for, especially as it was a rare self-indulgence. Although I didn't raise the issue during my visit, assuming I had misread the information, I now realize I hadn't. Despite the appealing location and aesthetically pleasing nails, I hope this was an anomaly and not standard practice. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I may consider revisiting the venue in the future.
