I visited for a Shellac manicure and felt the service was rushed. The subpar quality became evident when the manicure began chipping a mere three days later.
I have been frequenting this establishment every fortnight since I relocated to the vicinity in March 2023. A dedicated patron, always generously tipping and never encountering any service issues. Recently, I opted for a Shellac manicure which unfortunately began chipping after just one day, deteriorating significantly by the sixth day. Upon visiting the salon today, I inquired about their recommendation between Shellac and acrylics to prevent a recurrence. The individual was incredibly impolite, insinuating that the severe chipping was due to engaging in physical manual labour and absolving the salon of any fault. I clarified that I am a GP (thus not engaged in manual labour!) and acknowledged it wasn't his fault, simply seeking guidance. He proceeded to mock me and adopt a passive-aggressive attitude. Ultimately, I decided against proceeding with the appointment, leading to the regrettable loss of a loyal customer. Please refer to the attached images for context.
