I had a very negative experience with the customer service at this salon. I visited for a gel polish on my toes over the weekend, only to discover upon returning home that the edges of my toenails were sloppily painted. Due to the salon being closed on Sunday and my work commitments on Monday, I could only return on Tuesday to address the issue. Instead of offering a simple apology and fixing the mistake, I was met with blame for not coming back sooner. The implication that I should have returned the next day was unreasonable, especially considering the practicalities of my schedule. Additionally, the fact that the gel polish deteriorated within a few days indicates a potential issue with the quality of their products. As evident in the photo, the final result was far from satisfactory, resembling a haphazard application of nail polish. I have decided not to patronise this salon again.
I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The lady in charge displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. When I suggested that perhaps the nails could be filed later if they were too long for my liking, she bluntly refused, stating that she would not do so. I was taken aback by her response. Furthermore, every time I inquired about a particular service, she seemed to arbitrarily increase the price. To make matters worse, additional charges were added on top of the initial quote while she was working on my nails, giving the impression that prices were being made up on the spot. The overall experience was subpar, with little regard for customer preferences and a tendency to impose their own designs without consultation.
The level of customer service at this salon was abysmal. The trainee, who I later found out was the owner's daughter, appeared to be inexperienced and clueless. When I pointed out that the design on one of my nails did not match the others, she responded with a dismissive attitude, claiming she was simply 'winging it'. Within a mere three days, four of the nails she had worked on fell off, and the remaining ones felt weak and poorly done. The staff members were more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than addressing customer concerns. Overall, a disappointing experience.
