The swimming pool, sauna, and steam rooms are truly delightful. The gym classes are top-notch, and the staff are so welcoming. It's always so peaceful here, and it's rare for it to get too crowded.
It's been a while since my last visit, but I did appreciate the well-appointed shower room and the option to relax at the bar with a tea or coffee afterward. However, my overall experience at the gym was quite poor despite some friendly staff. During a personal training session, the instructor insisted on dictating my workout, which was off-putting. There are more professional gyms out there, and it's a shame that this place, associated with the Hilton brand, didn't live up to expectations. When I tried to rejoin recently, the staff didn't go the extra mile. One trainer was even chatting with his back to the entrance, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere for newcomers. If they want to truly support people on their fitness journey, they need to make some changes. After being charged membership fees despite not attending for a while, I won't be returning. You give it a chance, then another, but if the vibe remains unwelcoming, it's time to move on.
My spa evening for my birthday was cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice due to 'maintenance issues'. While a refund was offered, there was no goodwill gesture or a proper apology. I won't be booking here again.
