I have frequented this salon for several years, and unfortunately, the stylist who usually tended to my hair has departed, necessitating the involvement of a new stylist for my last two visits. I was taken aback when, upon my first visit with the new stylist, they promptly informed me that the service would now cost an additional £90, despite paying a different rate for the same service for years. This amounted to a more than 20% increase. Nonetheless, I acquiesced as I had no alternative at the time. Upon my return in early January this year, the quality of the work was notably subpar, evident in the fact that a mere four weeks later, my roots are in a dreadful state. The salon informed me that they bear no responsibility and are unable to remedy the situation. I did express my concerns to the stylist at the time, noting that my roots still appeared dark, but was assured that it was intentional this time. I am deeply disappointed as, for the price (nearly £300), the final outcome is extremely unsatisfactory, much to the surprise of those who see it. I have no qualms about the high cost in London if the end result is commendable. Despite reaching out to convey my dissatisfaction, they insisted that I had voiced a reluctance to go lighter, which is inaccurate. I simply requested that the stylist refrain from using the board to create straight lines on my roots, resulting in a block root effect, as this was balayage, which was how it was done previously. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this establishment and caution others to be mindful of similar issues.
Visited RYS in preparation for a ball after travelling to London from Derbyshire. Sophie handled the haircut and styling, while Jatin took care of my makeup. I cannot speak highly enough of RYS. The service was exceptional; the staff were professional and provided excellent care. Sophie completely transformed my appearance, and I felt like a movie star upon leaving the salon. Thank you once again, Eve 😊
Daniele, here are the photographs taken merely a fortnight after my appointment. Kindly inform me if this outcome aligns with the expectations I should have had after spending £325 at your establishment. I reached out to Alison to rectify the situation, not to exacerbate it, as I was dissatisfied. I did not push for a home visit; it was actually his proposal after mentioning that 'the salon lacks flexibility' and that he is 'serving certain clients at home for better rates' (I am more than willing to share screenshots of this exchange if necessary). The level of customer service exhibited here is abysmal, and while it seems you may not believe you owe your patrons any apologies for subpar work on their hair, as evident from past grievances, it would be greatly appreciated if you could provide me with the contact details of the clinic owner, if it's not yourself.
