I shall recount my visit to this salon. Having recently relocated to Colchester, I was in need of a haircut. After perusing the top-rated reviews on Google, I found this salon and was content with what I saw on their website. I opted for a "wet cut" and paid a £10 deposit. Uncertain about what a wet cut entailed, I visited the salon before my appointment to clarify. The salon was deserted, devoid of any customers. The hairdresser addressed my queries and informed me that the cut would cost £45. We discussed the online booking and the £10 advance payment. On the day of the appointment, I adjusted my morning routine to arrive punctually despite the rainy weather. Upon reaching the salon, I discovered it was closed at the scheduled time. I promptly called the hairdresser, who casually mentioned she was running 10 to 15 minutes late. Despite having all my contact details, she made no effort to notify me of her delay. Disappointed, I ultimately did not receive the haircut. The experience was dreadful; she was impolite and deceitful. Taking the deposit and failing to show up for work demonstrated a lack of professionalism. I would rate her service as -10.

Expressed my desire for a trim but left with a completely different hairstyle. While the haircut itself is not terrible, it was not what I had requested. The salon was infested with flies, and I was kept waiting for 20 minutes due to a malfunctioning terminal. The owner later called me to challenge my review, displaying unprofessional behaviour.
