I stumbled upon a hair salon in Letterkenny, Donegal while exploring Ireland and it caught my eye as unique, not on the main street but connected to a hotel where I was staying. In need of a haircut, I decided to check out the reviews to see if it was well-regarded, and to my surprise, there was only one dissatisfied customer. I read a recommendation to ask for Terence Boyle, who is said to be very skilled and has his name on the business. Unsure if he's the owner, I ventured inside to inquire. I was greeted by two female hairdressers who were busy with clients. I struck up a conversation with one of them who was incredibly friendly. She assured me that all the stylists were equally talented and shared that she works at the salon three days a week, and at another of their three locations the rest of the week. Feeling uncertain about what to do with my hair, she offered some valuable advice that truly helped! She mentioned that Terence works at the Courtyard Salon, which I assumed was local in Letterkenny, Donegal. Upon further research, I discovered that it's actually in Belfast! Since I will be returning to Belfast during this trip, I may give them a visit at one of their other salons and will share my experience afterwards.
Huge thanks to Sam for the sensational 🤩 colour and fabulous cut 💇🏻♀️ I've already secured my next appointment before they get fully booked 🤗 ...
I reserved the services of Sam and Ally for my wedding hair and makeup this summer, and they both exceeded my expectations! They were incredibly attentive both before the wedding and on the day itself. Their presence brought a wonderful energy to my wedding morning, and we all shared some laughs (which is exactly what you need on your wedding day!) I adored my bridal hair and makeup, and the rest of the bridal party looked stunning as well. The styles held up all day and received numerous compliments. Thank you, Sam and Ally! Xx
