Carly is absolutely fantastic at her job. I have undergone 6 sessions of laser hair removal for my underarms, and the results are incredible. Previously, I had to shave daily due to fast hair growth, but now I hardly need to. The dark patches have vanished, and my skin feels smooth. Carly is not only skilled but also friendly, offering valuable advice. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I wholeheartedly recommend Avance Clinic.
I wouldn’t recommend this clinic. Before the pandemic, I purchased multiple bulk packages. However, each time I tried to book my next appointment, it was extended by 4 weeks, then every 8 weeks. I never used up my packages, and the staff never followed up to inquire why. Additionally, every visit, they couldn’t locate my file, making it tiresome to explain what I had paid for. The staff also weren't the most friendly.
I echo the sentiments expressed in previous reviews. I paid over £2800 for a treatment package, but my experience was marred by a mix-up at the clinic. My beautician was absent for my appointment, leading to a painful session with a different person using a different machine. The treatment was stopped abruptly, and I was told to wait until my summer tan had faded completely. However, when I tried to rebook, I faced challenges due to Carly's reduced working hours. Despite attempting to reschedule, my requests were ignored, and I was informed that I had run out of time for treatment. This was not stipulated in the terms and conditions, nor was it part of our initial discussions before payment. After over 12 months of ongoing treatment, I feel misled. I am considering seeking legal advice. I caution others against purchasing packages from this clinic. Once they have your money, their interest wanes.
