A truly disappointing experience at this Headmasters. I made an online appointment for a full head of highlights over a week ago. I arranged childcare and saved up for my hair appointment. Upon arrival at the salon, the stylist refused to proceed with my hair as I hadn't undergone a patch test within the last 6 months. This requirement was not clearly communicated to me prior to my appointment, and if it was on the booking form, I did not notice it. I suggest that the stylist reviews client records before appointments and if a patch test is missing, they should make the effort to contact the client to avoid wasting their time and money (in my case, childcare costs). I have visited Headmasters a few times before and have never been asked for a patch test. Despite my pleas, I was informed that I needed to adhere to their policy changes every six months. I was instructed, not asked, to return on Tuesday, incurring additional childcare expenses. Not only that, but I felt humiliated by the condescending tone of the stylist, which brought me to tears, a situation she seemed unbothered by. I have no issue with patch tests, but I do take issue with extremely poor and rude customer service. I will be sure to advise friends and family against visiting this Headmasters - no one should be made to feel ashamed for not being aware of a salon policy change and judged for not having had my highlights done sooner. Tip: perhaps a phone call and going the extra mile would prevent customers from leaving in tears.
Georgia was absolutely fantastic! My hair was all one tone of warm blonde/orange. She worked her magic and blended my hair with a full head of highlights, incorporating my natural colour. She also styled it exactly how I wanted. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. She was kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable in her craft. I would highly recommend this stylist and salon 😊
