Despite the closure of Fortuneswell Boots and the added pressure on services, the Easton pharmacy managed a queue of customers waiting for prescriptions at 5:00pm on a Wednesday efficiently and with a warm attitude. A commendable display of public service in the face of budget cuts and closures.
The service provided is truly appalling. The staff behave in a condescending manner, making customers feel unworthy of their attention. I have witnessed staff raising their voices at customers on multiple occasions. They have a list of excuses ready for why prescriptions aren't ready, never taking responsibility. The 'service' they offer is genuinely disgraceful. I have reached my limit and would rather drive to Weymouth than deal with the impolite, hostile, dishonest staff members again. Good riddance.
This service has slowed down due to the impact of covid. With the closure of Boots in Underhill, there is now a higher demand. There are numerous errors in communication, with scripts often missing. Mornings tend to be hectic, so it's best to visit in the afternoon. The counter staff are always kind, helpful, and show empathy towards the stress they face and the amount of information they need to handle.
