Purchased a full kitchen. The team was like pals. They guided us in the design and ordering process. Prices are fair. Their contractor will install it in Jan '25. So far, they've gained many brownie points. I've always had a soft spot for B & Q. They seem to stock most of what I need and are consistently friendly and supportive. They even pardoned me for accidentally triggering the alarm.
It's alright, quite pricey for what most of it is. For instance, I just bought Danish oil for £19, yet after researching, I discovered that the range offers the same for £11, so that will be returned. Additionally, many of the staff, especially the younger ones, through no fault of their own, lack knowledge about half of the items they are selling. I requested a wood scraper, and they led me to the car parts for an ice scraper.
Fantastic, always well supplied, and the team is incredibly helpful! I'm a (poor) novice DIY enthusiast, and somehow they always grasp what I'm trying to achieve and assist me in making it a reality. As a bonus, we also just acquired a gorgeous Christmas tree at a fantastic price 😀 ...
