While I was getting my nails done, I found it disruptive that the staff were chatting and laughing in Chinese, which felt unprofessional. To top it off, they had the nerve to suggest that I should have explained myself better. I was genuinely thrilled to experience this venue as it boasted stunning vistas. However, the service I encountered here fell short of expectations. The individual who tended to my nails left numerous cuts on my fingers. I sought an infill for my BIAB nails, a procedure I typically undergo to uphold my natural nail strength and facilitate their growth. To my dismay, she excessively filed my natural nails as if it were an acrylic service. Having received BIAB treatments elsewhere, I could discern her lack of expertise. The BIAB material was spilling onto my cuticles and skin. At one juncture, she appeared flustered by her inability to execute the task correctly, prompting her to take a break. Moreover, she was seen rubbing her nose and coughing into her hands while working on my nails, which I found unhygienic. The entire team exudes a welcoming atmosphere from beginning to end, creating a friendly and enjoyable vibe. I visited the salon to have my nails done, but when I returned home, one was already damaged. It hasn't even been two weeks and my nails are in a terrible state, constantly breaking. To make matters worse, the staff initially said I could pay with PayPal, but upon arrival, they said it wasn't an option. Instead, I had to settle the payment by buying the owner a whiskey.
The only positive thing I can mention is that I gave them another chance, but unfortunately, my nails were ruined on the same day. Exceptional service, swift and executed with professionalism. Visiting this salon is always a pleasure; I highly recommend it. Hailing from a culture with stringent standards in beauty and hand care, I found this salon to be a breath of fresh air compared to others in the area. After a disappointing experience at another salon, I needed to restore my nails and received plenty of helpful advice. Currently unable to use shellac or gel due to a damaged nail, but once it heals, I will certainly return.
