Having relocated from the United States and leaving behind a great waxing salon, I was apprehensive about finding a new place. The Wax Bar exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness, efficiency, and reasonable prices. Lauren, my waxing specialist, is exceptional. I highly recommend this establishment.
Being heavily pregnant at 38.5 weeks, I called ahead to inform the waxer that I would be 10 minutes late. Despite this, upon my arrival 8 minutes past the scheduled time, I was turned away for being tardy. The waxer callously suggested I walk to Lothian Road for another appointment. As a pregnant woman struggling to walk due to severe pelvis pain, her insensitivity was appalling. I sought service elsewhere and shared my negative experience with others. The lack of empathy and care shown by the waxer was truly disappointing. I would not recommend this establishment and have vowed never to return.
Visited the Rose Street location this morning for fluffy brows by Chloe. She was delightful, explained everything thoroughly, and created a comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely return 😊.
