5 out of 5! We absolutely adored our experience at Stage. The cuisine was exquisite, and they offer this unique "mystery" menu where each dish surpasses the last. Fresh ingredients and a wonderful balance between seafood and meat. We couldn't have asked for anything more! The service was exceptional as well, and it truly enhanced our journey around Devon! I would highly recommend this establishment to EVERYONE! Hopefully, we can return soon.
The finest eatery in Exeter - and perhaps the South-West - by a long shot. Exceptional, warm, enthusiastic service and innovative flavour combinations that will excite even the most weary of taste buds. There's genuine delight and curiosity at play here, with unexpected and thrilling flavour pairings (the wine flight is truly worthwhile for some bold and harmonious matches) and meticulous attention to detail. As a plant-based eater, it's remarkable that they infuse as much passion into their vegetarian selections as they do their meat dishes, and there's something to please, inspire, or intrigue in every course. The epitome of upscale dining and well worth the brief stroll out of the city centre to revel in this absolute treasure.
Exceptional service complemented by even more exceptional cuisine. If you're seeking something extraordinary, this is unquestionably it! The dishes here are truly delectable! Superb ambiance, some of the most exquisite food I've enjoyed recently!
