Although we didn't dine here, we certainly enjoyed our fair share of drinks. The staff and fellow patrons were exceptionally friendly. Plus, dogs are warmly welcomed. The tiered beer garden is a lovely spot on a sunny day.
Zero stars. Initially, I thought this pub was pleasant, but my friend went in ahead of us and was directly questioned by a staff member at the bar, "Are you just using the toilet?" My friend, a long-time patron, retorted, "Don't speak to me like that," and proceeded to use the facilities. While he was using the urinal, the same staff member abruptly pulled him away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this pub! The wide array of beers and the decent food selection were delightful. Niamh, the bartender, was a delight! She greets you with banter at the door, shares a few jokes, and serves up delicious beer. We had the pleasure of meeting the esteemed regulars of the pub, including a Labrador named Stella and a Dachshund named Poppy. Truly exceptional patrons. It would be a mistake to pass up the chance to stop by for a cold one. I suggest indulging in some food and drink, then settling in for a lively card game or engaging conversation! We will definitely be returning to see Niamh and her fantastic team once more!!
