A heartfelt thank you to Holly from Vanilla for fixing my partner's hair. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.
I wouldn't return, that's for sure. It was alright, but it seems they cater more towards middle-aged individuals with a standard cut and style, which becomes repetitive. I went in for a simple trim and face framing. My hair is thick and dry, and I'm aware of that. However, I have some knowledge about hair, and it felt like either the stylist was qualified but forgot half of it, or they were so accustomed to one hair type that they didn't know how to handle my thick hair. I had to ask her to soften the blocky look around my face and thin it out by cutting into it, even though I had mentioned it as an issue before the cut, and she hadn't addressed it until I asked again. Additionally, she didn't listen to what I was saying; I mentioned my hair was wavy, but she only noticed it after 20 minutes. I also asked for caffeine, but was told to go to a coffee shop nearby, yet the person next to me was served coffee immediately upon arrival. The customer service was quite poor, and it seems they rely heavily on regular customers, whom they even fail to remember. It's evident that it's a declining business. They used so many products on my hair that I ended up smelling like an elderly person and had to wash it all over again. Despite pointing out the issues and asking for corrections, my hair still didn't turn out as requested. I eventually gave up, and not a single staff member greeted me with a smile when I entered.
