Visited Luxy nails with my companion yesterday, and the service was subpar. We had booked our appointment for 2pm the day before, but they called on the same day, changing it to 1pm, disrupting our original plans. While getting our nails done, the nail technician attending to me mentioned that someone else would take over shortly, but I ended up waiting for 25 minutes, with two staff members chatting on their phones behind me. Before the nail application, I showed the technician my desired design and asked the cost, to which she said £42, which was agreed upon. However, when my friend's nails were done, she inquired about the price and was also quoted £42. Upon payment, the cashier initially asked for £90 for both sets of nails, but I corrected him, stating it should be £84 in total. The staff then questioned whether we were paying separately or together, despite the total being £84 regardless. I clarified that we were paying together, and eventually, they agreed to the correct amount. It's disappointing that despite the quality of the nails, the staff attempted to overcharge us, considering we were two teenage girls and a neurodiverse individual.
