The Nail Bar

First and last time visiting this place!!! My regular nail bar Sophie’s at The Linkway was very busy so I decided to check if one of the ones in Fleet had any openings. HUGE ERROR!! Continuously applying BIAB clear polish on my nails, repeatedly. I tried to inquire why she was doing that as I have never had it done that way before but she ignored me. Filing my nails so thin that it started to cause pain on my nail bed. Once again, I attempted to request her not to do so but she dismissed me! The final straw for me was when the woman working on my nails was constantly speaking in her language to other colleagues the entire time. English may not be your first language but this is incredibly impolite. Sophie’s in Fleet are of the same nationality (I believe) and they DO NOT behave in that manner. You are DISRESPECTFUL and rude. In my view, AVOID this "salon"

Poorly executed, French tips are uneven, the actual nail is transparent, and the communication was lacking. Polish came off 2 hours after application, one of the nails just came off now. Won’t be returning again

Certain members of the team are pleasant, they are very accommodating for wheelchair users. More so than other nail bars in Fleet. However, some of the team are not very friendly and pressure and manipulate you into spending more than necessary. On the whole, they seem to lack some skills... they often refuse to do most patterns and designs or become slightly irritated or act inconvenienced when you inquire about it. They seem to prefer only plain colours, which they are generally quite skilled at. Additionally, when you provide feedback or ask for reasonable changes, certain team members become very defensive and impatient. It can make you feel rather uncomfortable. Also, at times certain team members can be quite rough, I've left a few times with very red, painful, and slightly bleeding around the nails. I believe they are mainly let down by their interpersonal skills and customer service though.
