**Fantastic service at Principles Hair Design!** I absolutely loved my colour trim wash and blow-dry. The price was great, the customer service was top-notch, and the staff were so friendly. Plus, the cappuccino was delicious. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Oliver.
**Avoid Scarlet at all costs!** Scarlet is the most unreliable hairdresser I have ever encountered. After a booking mishap in December, I decided to give her another chance in Flitwick, despite living in Bedford. I drove 40 minutes on a Saturday for a cut and colour appointment that I expected to take a few hours. However, Scarlet informed me last minute that I needed a patch test for the colour I had booked. This was surprising since she had previously coloured my hair without a patch test. She made no effort to reach out to me and falsely claimed she had. In my 25 years of hair colouring, I have never been asked for a patch test. I received no messages or voicemails from her, despite her insistence that she had tried to contact me. To add insult to injury, I had a significant birthday coming up, and I had specifically scheduled this appointment to have my hair ready. I was extremely disappointed and upset by the lack of professionalism. Scarlet's excuse that she was only 19 is irrelevant; as an adult charging full prices, she should act responsibly and treat her clients with respect. The salon manager's unhelpful and rude attitude only exacerbated the situation. It is inexcusable for Scarlet to allow a client to travel 40 minutes for an appointment without proper notification and then lie about attempting to contact them. This experience, especially so close to a milestone birthday, was truly unforgivable.
**Consistent Excellence at Principles Hair Design**. I have been a loyal customer for a decade and have had my hair styled by various talented hairdressers. The staff are always welcoming and easy to chat with. I appreciate the email and text reminders for appointments. I highly recommend this salon!
