1a Hengoed Rd
A small and basic church, with no items for sale or parking available on site. Extensive land area of burial sites located behind the church, accessible by car through the adjacent road of Castle Hill.
Impressive church. Referred to as 'ancestor churches' when I visited. Upon mentioning this, the female volunteers arranging flowers immediately stopped what they were doing to retrieve records and assist me in my search.
Attended the funeral of a beloved Aunt. The church is a classic example of 13th/14th Century architecture. The surrounding area has some uneven pathways and the burial ground is situated on a slope, so caution is advised when walking.
