After more than three weeks, my nails are still incredibly durable and in great condition.
Last week, on Wednesday, I visited a salon to get a fresh set of acrylic nails. Although the initial set was satisfactory, the process took longer than anticipated, causing me to leave for another appointment. Consequently, I requested that only the top coat of gel polish be applied, with the intention of returning on Friday for the completion of the gel design (black French tips). The staff agreed to this arrangement and informed me that an additional £5 would be required for the finishing touches. I paid £30 for the acrylic set and departed. Upon my return on Friday, I waited for 30 minutes due to the busy schedule, before being attended to by a different technician. While they were courteous, the application of the gel was messy and uneven, seemingly rushed. To make matters worse, I sustained a cut on one of my fingers from the nail file. Subsequently, I was charged an extra £10 for the service. Having been a patron of nail salons for over 15 years, I must say that this was one of the poorest paint jobs I have ever received. I should have opted for the salon across the street instead.
I have frequented this salon for nail treatments on numerous occasions, and I must say, their services are exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and always deliver nails exactly as requested. Moreover, they provide outstanding customer service and engage in pleasant conversations.
