I had arranged an appointment with the proprietor for a wash, trim, and blow-dry. Upon arrival, I was informed that there was no record of hair washing in her schedule. The proprietor seemed stressed as she was working alone. I suggested I could return later and that I wasn't in a hurry. My hair was washed, but a plastic cape was placed around me without a towel, leaving my hair wet. Another customer arrived without an appointment, requesting root touch-up. I was set aside for her service. Showing a photo of the desired hairstyle, I emphasized not wanting it too short due to my fairly curly hair that tends to spring up. I wanted layers and a blow-dry to sweep back from my face. The cutting process was interrupted as she attended to another customer needing a hair wash. The hurried cutting lacked care, and I had to intervene to prevent further shortening. Disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, the proprietor missed opportunities to correct the cut. With long hair untouched for about two years, I feel dissatisfied with the uneven and improperly layered outcome. Paying £33.00 for what?! I do not recommend this hair salon.
