I had acrylic nails with powder for £38 and the job was well done. However, when it came time to pay, I mentioned I only had a card and not cash, which seemed to make the technician uneasy as if I was trying to avoid payment. I simply said I was going to the ATM across the road, but she insisted I leave something behind. I laughed it off, assuring her I was not going to run off without paying. It's unfortunate that the suspicion overshadowed the good service. If they want five-star reviews, they need to treat customers with respect and trust. Sadly, this salon won't be my regular spot anymore.
The customer service at this salon is abysmal. The staff are incredibly rude, with zero regard for customer satisfaction. The technician was rough with my hands and ignored all my queries. The salon itself was not clean. When it came to payment, I did a bank transfer and despite showing them proof on my phone, I was made to wait for 10 minutes after my nails were done while they checked their account. Highly unprofessional. I'd rather have a root canal than go back there.
My gel manicure chipped after just one week, and the technician was rough during the manicure causing my nail bed to bleed. Disappointed with the quality. However, I appreciate that they managed to squeeze me in last minute and accommodated my request for a multi-coloured design.
