I indulged in a Deluxe pedicure with shellac polish at Ambers. The experience was delightful. Sam was exceptional - professional and friendly. The salon had a pleasant ambience. I highly recommend Ambers (especially Sam) to anyone seeking a top-notch salon with exceptional services and treatments.
I visited Ambers Studio for a series of Caci treatments after the manager assured me it would "certainly make a difference". Despite only completing 6 out of 10 sessions due to interruptions caused by covid, I saw absolutely NO improvement. During my sessions, I was handled by two inexperienced staff members, one of whom was so rough that it caused discomfort and made my eyes water. The manager eventually offered to personally conduct the treatments, which I had already paid for. If she was the more skilled option, I should have been assigned to her from the start. Following my complaint, I had to send multiple emails to follow up, only to be met with resistance each time. Their customer service was shockingly poor. I had paid £680 for 10 treatments but only received 6. Despite requesting a £400 refund, they adamantly refused. After much back-and-forth, I was only refunded £340. Had they shown more empathy and flexibility, I wouldn't be leaving this negative review. I will not be returning to this establishment, nor would I suggest it to others.
My sessions with Sophie are always a pleasure. She is a thorough professional and an excellent communicator. I thoroughly enjoy my pampering sessions with her.
