If I could rate lower, I definitely would. The service I received today was utterly appalling. The lady attending to me had the audacity to question my gender when I requested a bikini wax. She laughed and insinuated that I might be "transitioning" because of my muscular build, all while chuckling. I'm currently preparing for a competition, hence my lean physique, but the insensitivity displayed here is unacceptable. This establishment needs to be held accountable for such behaviour.
I had my eyebrows done there yesterday, and they did a great job. However, when I inquired about a facial, the staff member was very rude in explaining my skin condition. We visit salons to improve our skin, right? Despite having acne, she bluntly stated they don't provide facials for acne-prone skin. I found her response quite off-putting and left feeling upset.
I visited a salon for a gel manicure. I have a habit of ruining my nails easily, so I inquired about the durability of the gel polish. The staff assured me it would last 2-3 weeks, so I proceeded with the treatment. To my dismay, the polish didn't even last a full day! I returned to have it fixed. The following day, two nails chipped, prompting another visit. A young technician repaired the chipped nails, but shortly after, one of them chipped again. I had to go back once more. I won't be revisiting this salon.
