I was charged the full fee when my entire family was all really unwell with the flu for a number of weeks in January/February 2024 and I forgot about an appointment I had booked for my son. I understand some people might try to take advantage and inconvenience hairdressers, but we were new clients, had never cancelled or forgotten before, and only did so because we were genuinely very sick. No benefit of the doubt was given, even though I apologised profusely and explained that I would rebook as soon as we were better. I would not suggest this salon to anyone because of this. It was extremely upsetting and lacked understanding, especially when we were already going through a very difficult time. And even after this incident, I continued to receive texts reminding me to rebook with them!! No, thank you!
Karoliina used to be my hairdresser ages ago, and I'm delighted she opened her own salon. The salon is beautiful and worth a little journey. Karoliina is an incredible hairdresser, very meticulous and a perfectionist - she always delivers exactly what you request. I cannot recommend this place enough.
If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I have been getting my hair bleached/lightened for 20 years but was new to the area and had not used this salon before. I checked the website and it seemed reputable and experienced. I underwent a patch test and had to pay a deposit for my appointment in advance. The hairdresser working on my hair left a significant band of colouring in my hair, and when I inquired if they were really going to leave my hair like that, they said no and claimed they were not finished. They then applied another colour treatment to my hair. They NEVER informed me that they had damaged or burnt my hair with bleach. I paid £175 and left after spending around 6 hours there. To make matters worse, the assistant washing my hair had false nails on that kept snagging my hair. In the following days, my hair was very elastic and kept snapping and breaking. I left messages at the salon, but nobody returned my call before we went into lockdown. I had to wait for all salons to reopen to fix my hair. My hair, which was past my bum, had to be cut into a short bob due to the damage caused. I would not recommend this salon.
