A friend arranged two sessions for me. Initially, I tried the infrared sauna, a novel experience for me. I truly relished it (much like a traditional sauna) then I cleansed and ventured into the flotation tank. Suffering from chronic pain in my back, neck, and shoulders, I found the flotation tank to be a fantastic way to stretch out without the constraints of gravity. Relaxation is a challenge for me most days, and the hour in the tank was incredibly beneficial in this regard. Earplugs are provided to prevent salt from entering, and it's advised not to touch your face. The entire setup operates seamlessly; you're equipped with towels, a robe, sandals, etc. I was warmly welcomed by the amiable Heidi, who gave me a tour and made me feel at home.
A delightful spa with wonderful individuals, received an exceptional massage from Becky last month, and rumour has it that everyone there excels in their craft. Yet to test out the float tank or sauna, but they're next on my agenda... Highly welcoming establishment, definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!
Well, today marked my inaugural experience with Floatation Therapy! I've been eager to try this for some time! It was slightly different from my expectations. The room was compact, with water about 12" deep, not very profound. It took me a bit to unwind, but it was a pleasurable experience, leaving my skin feeling as smooth as silk. They supplied shampoo, conditioner, body wash, along with towels.
