A friend arranged two sessions for me. Initially, I tried the infrared sauna, a novel experience for me. I truly relished it (much like a traditional sauna) then I cleansed and ventured into the flotation tank. Suffering from chronic pain in my back, neck, and shoulders, I found the flotation tank to be a fantastic way to stretch out without the constraints of gravity. Relaxation is a challenge for me most days, and the hour in the tank was incredibly beneficial in this regard. Earplugs are provided to prevent salt from entering, and it's advised not to touch your face. The entire setup operates seamlessly; you're equipped with towels, a robe, sandals, etc. I was warmly welcomed by the amiable Heidi, who gave me a tour and made me feel at home.
