Today, I had my inaugural floatation pod experience courtesy of a birthday gift card. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and guided through the floating process by a polite and friendly attendant. The float itself was surreal, akin to floating in space. Music played for the initial 10/15 minutes, followed by silence until the last 5 minutes when it resumed to signal the session's end. Personally, I would have preferred continuous music as I dislike absolute silence, though the experience was still enjoyable. The deep darkness was calming, but the sudden brightness when the internal light switched on was a surprise! 😂
The floating experience surpassed my expectations. I arrived feeling tense with shoulder pain, but left completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The facility is impeccably clean, modern, and exudes a calm and serene atmosphere. Viola (apologies if I misremembered the name) provided detailed explanations and made me feel at ease throughout. The attention to detail is evident, with amenities like pre and post-session showers and earplugs for the pod. The vanity room had everything one could possibly need. A wonderful experience, thank you, looking forward to my next visit. 😊
