First visit to this salon, von was incredibly kind and funny, and she did a fantastic job on my nails! Highly recommend her!
My nails looked great at first. No imperfections and a nice length. I decided to pamper myself with a gel manicure. Initially, the manicure looked wonderful. I was advised to come back for gel removal to prevent nail damage from acetone. After just one week, the gel started peeling off, so I returned for removal sooner than expected. Oh dear. When she removed the gel, my nails were a disaster. She used a mechanical file that caused significant damage. Initially, it didn't look too bad as she covered my nails in oil. I've been using nail oil to treat them since, but two months later, my nails are brittle, flaking, and in a terrible state. I know the damage will grow out in about 6 months, but was it worth it for just one week of nice nails? Lesson learned.
These nails are the absolute worst. I waited for over 30 minutes for my appointment. The technician seemed to be in a rush. The acrylics are shockingly thick and uneven, with bumps everywhere. There are patches of missing colour on the corners of my nails. It's a complete disaster. They are terribly uneven as well. Another coat would have helped. I ended up with polish all over my fingers. My cuticle was even cut. The no refund policy is stated but cleverly hidden.
