The gel nails I had done peeled off within 24 hours - a complete waste of money. The salon proposed to redo them, but I couldn't see the point - the service and handling of the complaint were very poor. I was left alone for 10 minutes to "choose a colour" - very unprofessional.
After a few days, my eyelash extensions began to fall out. When I returned to the salon for acrylic nails before my holiday, they fixed the issue. By the end of the first week, all the eyelash inserts on one eye had disappeared. A disaster! In the second week, three nails broke. I contacted Kirstie via email. While she did apologize through email, when I returned to the salon to have the remaining eyelashes removed, there was no genuine apology. I sensed a negative atmosphere from her, almost as if it was my fault. There was no mention of compensating for the eyelash mishap. However, she did offer to repair the three broken nails a week later. Since I had lost all trust in her, I opted to seek nail repairs elsewhere. I will definitely not be returning, and my recommendation would be to explore other options in the area with more experienced staff members.
My initial appointment today at the salon with Ashley was delightful. I have experienced numerous massages elsewhere, but this was truly the best I have ever had. Additionally, the facial I received was incredibly rejuvenating, leaving my skin feeling softer than ever. Ashley also provided me with valuable skincare advice. I will definitely be returning xx
