I've been to this salon a few times and had good experiences, until today. It was really busy and the manicurist was filing my nails too quickly, causing me to get hurt and bleed. When I raised this issue, the staff member I spoke to didn't seem to care or offer an apology. Received a text message from the salon a week before the appointment, informing of a cancellation due to alleged unavailability on that day - a Saturday. Upon checking the voucher platform again, the same cancelled day was still listed with available slots. After perusing reviews, it appears this is a recurring issue. Fortunately, managed to secure a refund through the deal site. I had agreed on £30 for the service, but ended up being charged £38 without explanation. The lack of transparency was disappointing, especially when I noticed the menu listed the service at £28. Additionally, my partner felt rushed during her session. The staff were friendly, but the nail quality was severely lacking. I visited this place to have my nails done for a special occasion, and only a few days after my appointment, my thumbs are already lifting. The polish was applied over my cuticles, leading to lifting as it grows. The gel polish was applied messily, seeping into the sides and causing lifting. The application was just shoddy. Moreover, my nails are uneven on each hand, with lengths not being properly checked, resulting in each nail being a different length. It's disappointing because the staff and service were pleasant. However, the application is extremely poor, especially considering the amount paid.
