The atmosphere was very welcoming, and both Chloe and Laura were delightful. Chloe provided a pleasant hair wash accompanied by a gentle head massage, and I was extremely satisfied with Laura's cut and style - precisely what I had envisioned. The only minor drawback was the instant coffee served. Offering better quality coffee would enhance the overall experience!
I am truly let down by the haircut I received from Julie. After letting my hair grow out from my previous cut by Julie, I had hoped for a different outcome this time. It seemed like she was trying to replicate my usual style, but it was not what I had in mind. I had a specific picture in hand, along with high expectations and plenty of length to work with. However, the end result was drastically different from the image I provided. I voiced my concerns about the amount of hair being cut and emphasized that I did not want my layers to be too short. Despite my instructions, I witnessed her continuously chopping away, and halfway through the cut, she proposed a lopsided style with one side shorter than the other, which I strongly declined. Asymmetrical cuts are at the top of my list of disliked hairstyles - reminiscent of a scene from Fleabag. It seems she may have begun the cut unevenly, as one side is noticeably shorter than the other. The back of my hair is not even straight, contrary to the blunt and straight back depicted in the picture. When I questioned these discrepancies, I was informed that adjustments had to be made due to my hair type. However, if the chosen haircut is not suitable for my hair, that discussion should have occurred before the cutting began, not after being challenged. The result is a mess - uneven, lacking shape or style. Perhaps in a few weeks, it will settle, and over time, it can be restyled. I was charged £35 for this, a wet cut. I believe I could have achieved a better outcome if I had done it myself.
Today, I took my daughter for her first professional haircut, and she was quite nervous. However, all the staff members were incredibly kind to her, helping her relax quickly. Laura (Mia) handled the haircut with such care, immediately putting my daughter at ease and delivering a beautiful cut. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely return. Thank you, Laura (Mia).
