First visit to this nail studio and I absolutely adored it and will surely return. The team are all delightful and executed the exact design I requested even though it was a challenging one. A lady arrived 15 minutes after closing time and they still accommodated her for a nail treatment even though they were all set to finish for the day. I also observed that they implemented several techniques that I have not seen in other salons, such as using different files to ensure your infills resemble a fresh full set :)
As a novice to gel nail enhancements I visited this salon last week following a recommendation and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I attempted a walk-in appointment the previous Saturday and they were fully booked and bustling. This is a highly active salon and despite advertising walk-ins, it seems advisable to book in advance. A married couple running the business with additional staff. Welcoming and courteous. There is some free on-street parking for up to 1 hour so it might be wise to park a bit further away to avoid a parking ticket. Would definitely return.
I had an incredibly frustrating encounter at this nail salon, which is disheartening as most reviews indicated that the service was welcoming and professional. However, once again, every design I chose was considered "too complex," and I was consistently urged to pick something else. For context, my initial request was for drip designs in glitter on a plain gel base with two nails having a design. I ended up showing about five more different designs with no helpful suggestions or explanation for rejection. This naturally led to my growing exhaustion. What truly upset me was the impolite conduct I witnessed. While I have no issue with staff conversing in a second language, I can certainly discern a disrespectful tone. At one instance, one of the staff made a dismissive noise when the employee holding my phone displayed the design, and it genuinely sounded like she was about to spit as she said something in her language. The other employee then chuckled in response, and that was the final straw for me.
