Visited spontaneously on a Saturday. Called them and they were extremely welcoming. Arrived 10 minutes later and was attended to within 5 minutes. Excellent job done on my partner's threading at a very fair and reasonable price. Charming customer service and a pleasant and hygienic salon as well. Overall a delightful experience.
NEVER visit this establishment for your manicure. I had fairly lengthy nails and requested the manicurist to trim them while being mindful of my nail bed. Instead of cutting them to a reasonable length and filing the rest, she trimmed them excessively short and attempted to file them to achieve an even shape. Not only was it painful due to the shortness but she also executed it so ineptly that my nails appeared as if a child had attempted to shape them. I had to provide explicit instructions on what to do in an attempt to salvage any semblance of my previously beautiful long nails. Nevertheless, she was so inept and it was so painful (even resulting in minor abrasions on my fingertips from excessive filing near the skin) that I simply instructed her not to complete the service and departed. I ultimately went to another establishment where I had to pay £60 to rectify the damage and where it caused astonishment to other manicurists that someone so evidently lacking in skill could be permitted to hold such a position. As a caution to all contemplating this establishment for their manicure: AVOID. I have been getting my nails done for 7 years and never have I encountered someone so blatantly deficient in the fundamental aspects of manicuring.
This is an extraordinary location! Charlie is skilled, imaginative and simply fantastic! All the team members are friendly and delightful. My household are frequent customers for a couple of years now and always satisfied with their haircuts. It’s truly delightful to be warmly greeted - even when just passing by without an appointment. The ambiance is inviting and amicable - and the tea is very delightful too. Its superb to have this salon in our local vicinity.
